Identity Specialist

What you’ll be doing: 

The Information Security Identity Specialist will oversee the ongoing maintenance and governance oversight of identity and access within the Virgin Australia Group. As a member of the Information Security team, the role will be to provide support to other specialists; especially support to audits, security reporting and in the production of documentation and artefacts.  

You’ll be great in this role if you have: 

  • Formal qualifications in identity access and management, such as SANS 

  • Strong understanding of the identity and access management lifecycle 

  • Previous experience in security technologies and best practices 

  • Ability to generate, maintain and present operational performance metrics for an executive audience 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly 

  • Experience collaborating with technical teams in a hybrid insourced and outsourced environment 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective communication and alignment across diverse groups. 

Desirable but not essential: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or similar is ideal 

  • Previous experience working in project management 

  • Experience working in consulting and client facing roles 

  • Proficient with data reporting via PowerBi and Microsoft Excel 

  • Exposure to Identity Manager, ServiceNow and SharePoint
