About Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA)
VARA operates out of Perth Airport and predominantly conducts charter operations throughout regional Western Australia. We are currently on a growth path and are in the process of phasing out the F100 and A320 Fleet with new generation Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. What you will be doing…
The Supply Officer position is a significant role in providing the first line of regulatory responsibility for the inspection, receipt and storage of aeronautical products to enable the Maintenance Team to perform maintenance. Stock control and accountability on behalf of the Operator.
You will…
- Complete the daily activity checklist allocated to the facility you are allocated per shift
- Pick, pack and arrange shipping for all rotables and expendables on daily BIM report during your shift and as otherwise instructed
- Process Computerised Maintenance Management System updates commensurate with receipt and issue of aeronautical products, consumables, and expendables
- Receipt and inspect the incoming aeronautical products that are received
- Reject and report on any non-conforming products
- Segregate and store aeronautical products
- Dispatch products for repair/overhaul as directed by the operator
- Process out of hours AOG parts acquisition requirements as directed by the Maintenance Watch and or the Base Supervisor during out of hours night shift
- When requested, ensure the control of the GSE and tooling from the storage facility, inspecting items for serviceability on issue and return. Report on GSE and/or tooling deficiencies as per procedural requirements
- When requested, ensure the control of the GSE and Tooling loaned as a kit are issued as a kit and returned complete.
- Report kit deficiencies as per procedural requirements
- Conduct daily routine surveillance of the hangar and warehouse areas with a view to identifying supply department action requirements. Record these within the internal safety reporting system where hazards are identified
What you need to be successful:
- Demonstrated experience in Supply/Warehouse environment.
- Inventory control experience within an aircraft maintenance environment would be highly desirable but not mandatory
- Australian Drivers License
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods by Air Certificate
- Able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card
- Forklift Operator’s Certificate would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to obtain Company Receipt and Inspection Authorisation (6 months OT)
- Ability to partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
