What you’ll be doing
As a Safety, Quality & Training Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Safety & Quality Team within the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO), coordinating and administering safety, quality and training functions. You’ll help ensure we meet our safety and compliance obligations by maintaining accurate documentation, managing data, and supporting WHS activities across the Engineering function.
Your role includes:
- Coordinating, administering, and maintaining the AMO Safety & Quality Management Systems, including ensuring all documentation is current, compliant, and effectively applied
- Managing internal and external training requirements for Maintenance teams, liaising with training providers, regulators, and internal stakeholders, and delivering monthly training reports
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting safety and quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives and inform corrective and preventative actions
- Coordinating SMS-aligned change management processes and
- Supporting WHS and safety resilience activities, including hazard reporting, emergency response programs, and initiatives to prevent workplace accidents and injuries
- Developing safety packs for meetings, coordinating safety communications, and recording meeting minutes
- Supporting operational requirements including DAMP testing and ad hoc safety and quality analysis as required
You’ll be great in this role if you have…
Essential:
- A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in aviation, engineering, safety, or a related discipline
- Experience in office administration and record management within a fast-paced environment
- Strong capability in managing data repositories, spreadsheets, and databases
- High proficiency in MS Office suite
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage across all levels of the organisation
- A process-driven mindset with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and deliver timely, accurate outcomes
- A collaborative approach and genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing team
Desirable:
- Safety Management System qualifications
- Experience in airline safety, engineering or operations
- Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Organisations
