As the Leader, Specialised Sales, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how Virgin Australia partners with B2B Corporate, TMC and Sporting customers. You will govern our new customer onboarding program, corporate and agency learning program and provide best practice direction to partnership management and a growing specialised sales function.

In this position no day will ever be the same. You embody a can-do, customer‑centric mindset that enables scalable, consistent and commercially effective sales approaches. A drive for engagement is essential, with strong collaboration with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Contact Centre, Insights, Revenue, Marketing and Operations to drive alignment and unlock new opportunities.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Lead the Go‑to‑Market strategy across a Specialised portfolio, including recently acquired customers and Sporting Groups, while also supporting a consistent approach across Partnership Management
  • Manage structured onboarding and lifecycle programs that strengthen partner engagement and accelerate share shift.
  • Oversee education and enablement programs that boost partner capability, brand preference and revenue performance.
  • Develop and deliver customer propositions, tools and collateral that enhance engagement across the contract lifecycle.
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities, supporting contract negotiations and optimising commercial value.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of partners, ensuring CRM accuracy, contract integrity and seamless implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration to elevate customer experience, operational efficiency and partner satisfaction.

 

Be to successful:

  • Bring experience in B2B sales, account management or contract management, ideally within corporate, airline or TMC environments.
  • Have strong commercial acumen with experience developing growth strategies and customer‑centric sales solutions.
  • Are confident leading people, providing coaching, setting targets and uplifting team capability.
  • Excel at building relationships with senior stakeholders and navigating complex customer environments.
  • Communicate clearly, persuasively and confidently, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Thrive ina fast‑paced commercial environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions and performance.
  • Are tech‑confident, with experience in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and reporting systems.
