What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you'll lead the strategy, design and optimisation of Virgin Australia's guest automation programs across both our Direct and Indirect channels creating seamless personalised experiences that strengthen customer relationships at every stage of the journey. You'll combine data driven insights with marketing technology to build scalable, high performing communication workflows that deliver the right message to the right guest at the right time. Working collaboratively across teams, you'll continuously innovate and enhance our automation capability, helping shape how millions of guests connect with the Virgin Australia brand.

This is a 12 month maximum term opportunity.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Bring experience in marketing automation, CRM, customer lifecycle marketing or digital marketing, backed by a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Have hands on experience building and optimising automated customer journeys using Adobe Campaign Manager or a similar marketing automation platform
  • Are confident designing workflows, audience segmentation and personalised communications that deliver engaging customer experiences at scale
  • Have strong HTML and email development skills with an understanding of responsive design and quality assurance best practices
  • Love using data and insights to optimise campaigns, improve customer experiences and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Can communicate technical concepts in a way that's easy for stakeholders to understand and confidently build strong relationships across teams
  • Have a solid understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, data-driven communications and privacy requirements
  • Understand campaign performance metrics and enjoy using insights to continuously improve automation programs

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience with Adobe Journey Optimiser (AJO) or other next gen customer journey orchestration platforms
  • Bring experience with advanced segmentation, predictive modelling, dynamic content or AI driven personalisation
  • Have worked across multi-channel customer journey design beyond email
  • Have experience developing test and learn frameworks that drive innovation and continuous improvement
