Bring on wonderful careers.

We're on a mission to bring new and uplifting experiences to our guests, transforming flying from simply 'nice', to something wonderful.

Like any good mission, this one starts with our people.

Which is why we encourage our team to embody the fun, laid back, authentic spirit we've become famous for. Because when they're free to be themselves, they're better able to own their personal responsibilities and go the extra mile to help our guests.

Velocity is all about smart, simple, and speedy rewards. As part of our vibrant team, you’ll help deliver unforgettable value to millions of Australians — all while enjoying the perks of working for one of the country’s most loved travel brands.

We have two exciting opportunities available, working across Travel and Member Acquisition & Activation.

Reporting to the Marketing Leader, the Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping how our members experience Velocity every day. The objective of the Marketing Specialist role is to drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention by delivering data-driven, multi-channel marketing campaigns that enhance the Velocity member experience and deliver on our business objectives.

In this role, you’ll create campaigns that inspire members to earn and redeem more often, explore our partner network, and unlock the full value of their membership.

In addition, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end multi-channel campaigns – from concept to execution – across email, web, social, paid media, and emerging platforms, ensuring alignment with business OKRs.
  • Create and deliver lifecycle-based strategies to engage members at key milestones, including automated and trigger-based communications.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, leveraging first- and third-party data to deliver personalised, relevant campaigns that resonate.
  • Identify and seize growth opportunities, optimising current activity and developing innovative ideas to attract and retain members.
  • Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, campaign experimentation, and performance analysis, using insights to iterate and enhance results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns that are legally compliant, brand-aligned, and creatively outstanding.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Measure and report campaign performance, demonstrating ROI and making agile adjustments to hit targets.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in mid-level marketing management, with a track record in leading, planning, and optimising integrated campaigns.
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns, including CRM, lifecycle marketing, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Adobe Campaign.
  • Strong expertise in paid digital and social media, particularly Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, UGC).
  • Advanced skills in analysing campaign performance and member behaviour using tools such as Power BI and Adobe Analytics.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets to deliver measurable results.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to brief and lead agency partners.
