The role:

The Manager, Integrated Planning is responsible for overseeing the integration of planning functions across operations, especially as it relates to network, and scheduling. This role focuses on developing rule-based parameters and establishing feedback loops to enhance operational stability.

 

In this role the Manager will drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying pain points, addressing root causes, and designing effective solutions. By setting clear metrics and fostering teamwork, the Manager will optimize change management processes, driving operational success and adaptability.

 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our business operations follow best practices.
  • Regularly collaborate with Network Planning, Schedule Planning, Workforce Planning, Integrated Operations Centre, Airport Experience, Engineering, and VARA.
  • Manage and escalate risks as needed, contributing to solving complex long- and short-term scheduling challenges.
  • Collaborate on schedule design changes, including block times, Precision Timing Schedules, peak planning, and ops spare plans.
  • Analyse proposed schedule changes, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead meetings to review performance metrics, track trends, and align on business initiatives, ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Collaborate with the OTP Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Use scorecards to monitor performance against key metrics and manage data collection/reporting.

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in operational and cost-focused environments with a people-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High-level understanding of network seasonality and SLOT submission practices.
  • Financial and budgetary exposure in operational settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of the interdependencies between Network, Scheduling, Operations, and their impact on KPIs and NPS.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing change and effective system implementation and review.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organisational challenges.
  • Awareness of aviation regulations and legislation.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and operating rules.
