Transformation Support Specialist

The objective of the Transformation Support Specialist is to support continuous improvement of the overall transformation program, inclusive of process improvement and governance, system optimisation and data completeness and accuracy.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Administer ARC (Action, Results Collaboration) transformation management Tool
    access for all users and oversee ongoing governance to ensure access is removed as people become inactive
  • Liaise with relevant key stakeholders, e.g. IT, Finance, Legal, in driving requirements and improvements 
  • Ensure agreed internal security protocols are upheld with respect to ARC access (in support of confidentiality)
  • Interface with the ARC vendor to initiate improvement to functionality, ensuring the tool is improved to meet Virgin Australia’s needs
  • Work with transformation team members to identify business requirements of program reporting and work with the application owners to deliver these needs
  • Generate ad-hoc and routine reporting to inform program status as required for populations including ELT, GLT and per functional team, addressing key metrics
  • Manage the quality and effectiveness of VA’s transformation frameworks, processes, tools and templates, and provide ongoing improvement
  • Administer and manage the Transformation Team SharePoint site for project artefacts, and any other broader templates
  • Generate ad-hoc and routine reporting to inform program status as required for populations including ELT, GLT and per functional team, addressing key metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve insights delivered through transformation reporting and escalate to the transformation team members for consideration

 

What we're looking for:

  • Experience generating and improving program-level reporting to provide meaningful management insight
  • Experience working as part of transformation or PMO team under pressure to deliver material enterprise-level business results
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity, at a fast-moving pace with constant change in direction in pursuit of an overall objective (e.g. transformation)
  • Attention to detail with respect to interrogation of data quality and generation of insightful reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced skills in using Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools (e.g. Project Online, Primavera)
  • Advanced skills in the use and Power BI reporting
  • Sound working knowledge of project management methodology (e.g. Prince2, PMBOK)
