About the role:

The Pricing Distribution & Airline Agreements team is expanding, and we have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join our team at Virgin Australia HQ in South Brisbane. In this role, you'll be our subject matter expert on pricing distribution techniques, providing support and mentoring to our offshore fare filing team while serving as the vital conduit between our external/internal customers and operational teams.

Your responsibilities will span across several key areas of our pricing operations. You'll oversee fare filing requests and collaborate closely with the Alliances team on Special Prorate Agreement negotiations, applying your deep knowledge of international pricing and industry standards for inter-airline settlement. While our offshore team handles high-volume transaction processing, you'll focus on stakeholder engagement, driving process improvement initiatives, and implementing best practices for distribution of price content across various channels, whether via a SPA with an Airline Partner or via the fare and ancillary filing of content in ATPCo or other platforms.

You'll be great for this role if:

• Business, Administration or Travel & Tourism related Degree
• Experience in International Long-Haul Pricing
• Proven internal and external customer service and sales experience
• Stakeholder Management in high volume transaction process environment
• Contracts Negotiation skills
• Experience using ATPCo
• Advanced Word & Excel proficiency
• Report writing capabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• High level of attention to detail
• Clear communicator both verbally and written
• Fare construction knowledge
• Proration expertise

Desirable skills:

• IATA fares & ticketing certification
• Airline Partnerships/Alliances experience
• Revenue Management background
• Offshore vendor management experience
• PowerBI skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Airline host reservation experience
• GDS reservation experience
• Merchandising Manager experience
