What you’ll be doing…
As the Manager, Safety Insights and Education you will be responsible for safety data processing, including triage and allocation to relevant safety and operational teams for action. In addition, this role manages the safety training and promotion portfolio, including campaign development and execution, safety related newsletters and bulletins.
You will be…
- Leading safety communication, promotion and training initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practice
- Managing the safety reporting system, including insights, analysis and the presentation of safety performance data
- Presenting key trends and emerging safety issues to senior leaders
- Aligning safety initiatives with commercial objectives, ensuring we remain safe and efficient
- Designing and rolling out safety frameworks, policies and action plans
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to support a proactive safety culture
- Monitoring emerging compliance issues and adapting strategy accordingly
- Setting and monitoring measurable targets in line with Executive and Board objectives
- Conducting centralised safety data analysis to identify trends or risk precursors
- Embedding risk management principles across operational teams
You’ll be great in this role if you have…
- Leadership experience in Safety Management (aviation experience highly regarded)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret diverse data sources and turn them into actionable insights
- Experience developing documentation, systems and procedures that meet regulatory requirements
- A talent for communicating safety data in a meaningful and engaging way
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Strong presentation skills and the Confidence in presenting complex topics clearly to senior audiences
- Broad knowledge of airline operations policies and procedures would be an advantage
