Supply Operations Coordinator

Full Time Role - Located at the Virgin Australia Airport Hangar

 What you’ll be doing:

The Supply Operations operate between Virgin Australia’s HQ and our Brisbane Airport Hangar, this is done on a 24/7 rotating roster.

You will be managing all time and operationally critical material requests as well as defect related demands across the Virgin Australia mainline network while also providing overflow support to the rest of the Engineering Supply group.

Who we’re looking for:

Experienced Supply Operations Coordinator (AOG Desk) to work within a team who are responsible for fulfilling all time and operationally critical material requests to support AOG aircraft and Defect recovery. Previous experience within Purchasing, Component control, or Inventory Planning is highly desired as well as the ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

 Maintain and manage requisitions, including all time critical demands as well as being able to edit and cancel requisitions and provide supply chain solutions, contingency plans and commercial outcomes for time critical demands  

Maintaining compliance with Virgin Australia’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition, Engineering Business Procedures and applicable Work Instructions   Also, if you have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years' procurement or supply chain experience
  • Experience working within TRAX ERP and Oracle systems
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles
  • Experience navigating IPC, CMM, and Material Spec data
  • Working knowledge of the CASR Part 42 Continuing Airworthiness Regulations
  • In the absence of the above qualifications, significant experience in complex goods and services supply chain/procurement combined with evidence of strong benefit delivery,
  • Intermediate proficiency of MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint and Word application
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong ability to assess scenarios and plan outcomes in the most effective manner
  • Strong ability to prioritize work requirements in an operationally fluid environment - Good interpersonal skills
