We are seeking an experienced Crewing Officer to work within our regional network at Virgin Australia in Brisbane. Reporting to the Crewing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of published flight and cabin crew rosters, ensuring correct complement of crew, and compliance with regulatory, industrial, and company requirements. Additional duties will include:

• Continuous review and development of crew rostering conditions to maintain maximum efficiency and good practice in operational productivity.
• Preparing and maintaining  crew rosters to ensure effective planning of resources within the designated time frames
• Ensuring all flights have the correct crew complement in response to changes in crew availability and daily operational schedule.
• Processing of roster changes and ensuring compliance with rostering limitations and applicable CASA legislation.
• Processing all expense, allowance and penalty claims (i.e. RDO, Duty Penalties and Meals).
• Maintaining the data integrity of operational systems including GENEVA

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 12 months experience in an aviation rostering or a crew control role and have a broad understanding of flight time limitations and legalities. Previous working experience with GENEVA will be highly advantageous. Applicants must be able to work a 24 hour shift- work roster.
