As a Business Intelligence Specialist within the Analytics Centre of Excellence, you’ll play a key role in empowering the Velocity business with data-driven insights. You'll design and deliver intuitive, self-service data visualisation tools that enable teams to understand performance, uncover opportunities, and make smarter business decisions with confidence. 

In addition, you will:  

  • Design and deliver intuitive, interactive PowerBI dashboards that turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights 

  • Champion data visualisation standards to ensure every dashboard is user-friendly, visually impactful, performant and optimised 

  • Collaborate with our Analytics Engineering team to integrate PowerBI with key data sources including Databricks by leveraging best practices to ensure performance and scalability 

  • Embed data governance and consistency into every dashboard you build 

  • Partner with cross-functional analytics pods aligned to Loyalty, Personalised Program & Platforms, and Seamless Earn Experiences 

  • Develop and deliver training to boost data literacy, and mentor users to get the most from visualisation tools 

You’ll be great in this role if you: 

  • A degree in Analytics, Information Technology or a related discipline 

  • Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting business intelligence tools 

  • Proven capability working with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation platforms 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the credibility to influence diverse stakeholders and support high-performing teams 

  • Familiarity with best practices in data modelling, reporting and visualisation 

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring other users in using visualisation tools 

  • Proficient in DAX and SQL coding and query optimization
