What you’ll be doing
The objective of the Project Analyst - Ops Strategic Programs role is to support the Senior Manager, Ops Strategic Programs on tasks and tactical activities to ensure the projects remain on schedule, stays within budget and achieves its goals. This is an exciting role within an Operations Transformation team, where you will be able to drive key changes and innovations in the business across an operational context.
Further responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Manager to develop and track project schedules
- Prepare regular project progress reports
- Prepare Power Point presentations for Senior Management
- Follow-up with project stakeholders on task execution and deliverables
- Actively seek and maintain relationships with business and project team stakeholders
- Data analysis and ensure the project is tracking to monthly metrics
- Provide administrative support to Project Team
- Assist with managing the budgets
- Provide consistent and timely feedback on progress as required
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, preparing agendas and ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and completed
- Maintain accurate records of program documentation, including reports, and key deliverables
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to enhance program efficiency
You’ll be great in this role if you have…
- Proven track record of working within a project environment, managing project coordination activities within a large, complex business
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Administration/Project/Program co-ordination
- Project coordination experience within an Operations division is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience on logistical integration projects
- Great eye for detail to assist in ensuring each project artefact meets the project’s quality standards
- Able to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to help out the team where required
- Strong problem solving, prioritisation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills - confident communicator with the ability to quickly build rapport with others
- Experience developing high level presentations
- Experience tracking projects to budgets and finding anomalies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
