We are currently recruiting for a OOSD Senior Commercial Manager. In this role you will become the subject matter expert on OOSD (a brand new, not clearly defined, industry technology solution for airlines), with a priority focus on the Offer (then Order, Settle, Deliver) so as to assess the commercial value that will be derived on implementation. To do this the incumbent must be able to combine their knowledge of commercial drivers and the technology and inform the IT delivery of the technology to ensure commercial value is realised ASAP.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategy: Define and manage the OOSD implementation product strategy, which starts with NDC, together with other Commercial and IT stakeholders
- Product Management: Lead conversations and decision-making with stakeholders to define high-level requirements for the OOSD solution. Define, measure, report, and achieve KPIs as they relate to the OOSD adoption pathway.
- Roadmap Development: Identify, define and capture opportunities to drive traffic, adoption, commercial and customer outcomes in all channels enabled by OO API’s
- Feature Management: Drive continuous optimisation and improvements in the OOSD product based on analytics/insights and customer/user feedback
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discussions and decisions with stakeholders to define high-level requirements
- Vendor Management: Own the Vendor relationship with respect to OOSD products with an ownership and expert lens on Offer specifically
- Feature Delivery: Take full accountability for delivering new features throughout the product lifecycle
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Manager of system and process, with high technology dependency, changes in the airline industry.
- Strong background in program delivery
- Expertise in executing technology-driven projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Expertise in using analytics to drive data-driven insights for enhancing NDC channel capabilities and trade partner adoption
- A collaborative team player who is empathetic, resourceful, and results-oriented
- A deep understanding of airline markets and indirect distribution channels
- Familiarity with airline distribution systems
- Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, Teams, and SharePoint collaboration tools
- Knowledge of Sabre PSS
