What you will be doing:
At Virgin Australia, we believe that great journeys start with great planning.
As a Workforce Planning Data Analyst, you’ll use data, forecasting and workforce insights to help shape smarter resource planning decisions across the operation. Your analysis will help ensure we have the right resources in the right place at the right time, supporting a safe, compliant and reliable operation while improving resource utilisation, operational resilience and cost efficiency.
You’ll work with workforce and operational data to identify trends, highlight emerging risks and uncover opportunities to improve performance. Turning data into clear, practical insights, you’ll help the team understand what’s happening, why it’s happening and where we can make things better.
Working across Workforce Planning and partnering closely with Rostering, Training and Strategy & Transformation, you’ll provide analysis and recommendations that support short term decision-making. You’ll help turn complex information into clear insights, influence planning outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement across the operation.
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Workforce Planning, you will:

-
Partner with stakeholders on rostering, leave and training requirements
-

A curious and creative approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
-
A genuine drive to continuously improve Workforce Planning outcomes.
-
Strong Power BI and Excel skills, turning complex data into clear, meaningful insights.
-
Confidence working with data and numbers to identify trends and improve performance.
