What you’ll be doing

As a Safety Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Safety Assurance team. The role is centred around partnering with operations leaders to actively improve the way we manage safety. Therefore collaboration and relationship building is key to success. You will primarily conduct Safety Investigations but will also have input into identified safety trends and data, flight data, human factors and assurance activities to reduce risk to as low as practicable.

Reporting to the Head of Assurance, you will:

• Carry out safety investigations and audits for internal and external stakeholders
• Complete technical reports and provide analysis as requested
• Provide input to further develop assurance processes, procedures, training and work instructions
• Identify potential and actual risk to operations and work with stakeholders to minimise risk
• Support divisional leadership teams on matters related to safety assurance

You’ll be great in this role if you have…

• Have a genuine passion for safety 
• Are proactive and an advocate for continuous improvement
• Have experience in an operational environment, particularly in relation to Airport Experience
• Have the ability to collaborate meaningfully and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Have formal qualifications in safety investigating and auditing.
• Can analyse data and identify emerging trends
• Have exceptional problem solving skills coupled with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
