We’re looking for a Loyalty Airline Partner Operations Analyst to join our Business Operations & Member Services team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially minded analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across systems, stakeholders, and airline partners to deliver exceptional member experiences.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and optimising Velocity’s airline partner operations, ensuring members can seamlessly earn and redeem points while enjoying the benefits of the program across our airline network.

Your role will further involve:

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of airline partner earn and redemption platforms
  • Monitoring system performance and managing operational incidents and defects
  • Working closely with internal teams, airline partners, and external vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Supporting the delivery of campaigns, enhancements, and system changes
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new functionality and system improvements
  • Providing reporting and insights on operational performance and service levels
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Velocity, Virgin Australia, airline partners, and technology teams

 

You’ll be great for the role if you:

You’re a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering operational excellence. You enjoy collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and can confidently balance technical detail with customer impact.

  • Experience in operational delivery, systems analysis, or business operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working with vendors or technology partners
  • UAT or systems testing experience
  • Airline, reservations, or loyalty program experience (desirable)
  • Exposure to Sabre systems (desirable)
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power BI, or O365 platforms (desirable)
  • Understanding of APIs or batch file management (desirable)
