Safety is our backbone, service is our heartbeat, and our people are our superpower. We blend heart and smarts to deliver experiences that feel good, work brilliantly and bring a spark of fun back to flying.

We're vibrant, authentic and unapologetically human. If you're excited by meaningful work, real opportunities to grow, and a culture where you can genuinely make a difference, you'll feel right at home with us.

Our Digital team is shaping the future of Virgin Australia through technology, data and innovation. We create seamless digital experiences, build modern platforms and solve complex challenges with curiosity, collaboration and a relentless focus on delivering value for our guests and our people.

What you'll be doing…

As a Delivery Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives that create meaningful value for our customers and our business. Working closely with Product Managers, engineers, architects and business stakeholders, you'll turn strategy into delivery by translating roadmaps into clear delivery plans, managing priorities and ensuring initiatives are delivered with pace, transparency and quality.

You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, risks and delivery milestones, and keep work flowing through well-managed backlogs and Agile delivery practices. You'll bring clarity to complex delivery environments, foster collaboration across technology and the business, and use data, feedback and continuous improvement to help teams deliver better outcomes. Beyond delivery, you'll coach teams and build trusted relationships that enable successful delivery across multiple initiatives.

This role is based in Brisbane and the successful candidate must reside in Brisbane.

You'll be great in this role if…

You're an experienced delivery professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced digital environments and knows how to bring order to ambiguity. You build trusted relationships, communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels. You're comfortable balancing competing priorities, guiding teams through change and ensuring delivery stays focused on value, quality and outcomes.

You'll have experience leading digital delivery within large, complex organisations where multiple stakeholders, integrated systems and shifting priorities are the norm. You'll be comfortable with Agile and iterative delivery, managing roadmaps, dependencies and reporting with confidence. Exposure to managed services, offshore teams, airline, travel or loyalty environments will be highly regarded.

You naturally combine strategic thinking with a hands-on delivery mindset. You're curious, proactive and able to create clarity where others see complexity, while supporting teams to deliver with pace, transparency and shared accountability.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience within the airline, travel or loyalty industries.
  • Experience with managed service or offshore delivery models.
  • Exposure to modern software delivery, integration technologies or ITIL environments.

What you'll get from us:
