What you’ll be doing:
As a Specialist – Velocity Rewards (Air and Non-air Rewards), you’ll play a key role in managing and growing our suite of redemption products and partners, including Airline Rewards and key partners like Myer and the Velocity Rewards Store. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies that cover product design, pricing, data insights, relationship management, and commercial delivery. Working closely with partners, you’ll help shape and deliver rewarding experiences for our members while contributing to the broader Velocity partner strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of redemption partners including the Rewards Store, Myer, and new retail partners.
- Build and grow strong partnerships, creating tailored strategies that deliver mutual value.
- Own portfolio performance, optimising propositions and pricing to balance member value and profitability.
- Collaborate with airline and internal teams to design and launch innovative redemption products, including Reward Seats.
- Lead product and marketing initiatives, working with the marketing team to deliver end-to-end campaigns that drive member engagement.
- Use data insights to forecast, plan, and track partner performance across revenue, engagement, and acquisition.
- Support commercial negotiations and contract management to ensure partnerships deliver on their potential.
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- A university degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in account or partnership management, ideally within loyalty, commercial, or agency environments.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with experience in analysis, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Solid relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders and partners.
- Experience in direct marketing, retailing/sales, or CRM, with a good understanding of campaign management processes.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment, adaptable, resilient, and quick to pivot when new opportunities arise.
An understanding of loyalty programs and concepts, with knowledge of the airline industry considered an advantage.
