What you’ll be doing:
As a Marketing Advisor, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue and enhancing service outcomes for Virgin Australia by creating and executing engaging communications across our owned channels like V-mail, Guest, and Velocity programs. You’ll bring campaigns to life that surprise and delight our customers, always with a hands-on approach. From concept to delivery, you’ll continuously test, learn, and optimise to ensure every message makes an impact.
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Bring strong experience in managing marketing campaigns across digital and direct channels
- Know your way around HTML and have formal training in Dreamweaver or similar tools
- Have hands-on experience with data-driven marketing and CRM techniques, especially email
- Are confident running A/B and multivariate testing to optimise performance
- Can interpret campaign results through reporting and analysis
- Use Adobe Photoshop to create and refine campaign assets
- Thrive in cross-functional teams or agile squads, collaborating to deliver great outcomes
- Prioritise tasks effectively based on commercial impact
- Have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Bring proven experience from a commercial, retail, or sales-focused environment
- Communicate and present ideas clearly and confidently
- Understand and apply Spam and Privacy compliance in direct marketing
- Hold a degree or post-grad qualification in marketing, business, technology or a related field (desirable)
- Have formal training in Adobe Experience Cloud or similar platforms (desirable)
- Know how to design and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (desirable)
- Have experience with Adobe Experience Cloud tools like Analytics, Target, and Campaign (desirable)
- Understand the digital sales and eCommerce landscape (desirable)
