As the Partnerships Specialist (Travel) within the Loyalty tribe, you will be responsible for managing key travel partners, driving growth, and ensuring mutual business success. You’ll take the lead in building strong partner relationships, developing tailored marketing strategies, delivering innovative campaigns, and negotiating contracts.
With a clear focus on achieving performance targets, you’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver compelling offers to our members, while identifying new opportunities for growth within your portfolio.
In addition, you will:
- Establish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with travel partners, acting as the key contact across all areas of their business.
- Create and execute growth-focused strategies that align with partner, business, and member objectives, driving engagement, innovation, and mutual success.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to design and deliver unique campaigns and product initiatives that enhance the member experience and drive commercial outcomes.
- Oversee all contract negotiations and commercial agreements, ensuring terms are optimised and compliance is maintained.
- Proactively seek out opportunities to expand existing partnerships and support the development of new business opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development team.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis across key partner metrics, including financial performance, member engagement, and product outcomes.
- Keep informed of market insights and competitive activity, using these insights to shape strategies and maintain Velocity’s competitive edge.
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial, partnerships, or consumer loyalty roles, ideally within the travel, hotels, car hire, insurance, or loyalty sectors.
- Proven project management skills, with experience leading new programs of work and managing contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Strong capability in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with sound commercial acumen and the ability to identify and assess growth opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence liaising across multiple levels including senior leaders and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data literacy, and the ability to develop forecasts, business cases, and performance reporting.
- Solid understanding of partner marketing strategies and campaign execution, with experience delivering tailored initiatives that enhance member experience and drive engagement.
