What you’ll be doing:
Step into a pivotal role as the Specialist, Corporate Communications, where you'll shape and drive impactful communication strategies across key business units. You'll be at the forefront of managing proactive media relations, implementing communication programs, and supporting issues management – ensuring our messaging is clear, confident, and aligned with our values.
This is a 12 month maximum term contract opportunity.
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Have university qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or relevant work experience
- Can establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Come with corporate, financial and ASX communications experience that includes corporate relations, financial reporting, annual reports and AGMs
- Have deep issues management experience
- Are confident with developing and implementing communication strategies and materials
- Are comfortable briefing and advising CEO and Executive level company stakeholders
- Have outstanding written and verbal skills and can demonstrate this with strong personal presentation skills
- Are a natural influencer and negotiator
- Have experience in crisis management (desirable)
- Have strong knowledge of Australian aviation industry (desirable)
