We are currently recruiting the role of Manager, People Strategy and Transformation. This role will govern and support the execution of the Virgin Australia People Strategy and HR transformation roadmap. You will be responsible for establishing key performance metrics and providing deep insights on people initiatives to ensure impactful execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Work closely with the People leadership team on strategic people initiatives across the Company, ensuring the successful execution of the People Strategy.
- Partner with the team on strategic initiatives and act as a constructive thought partner to craft, challenge, stretch and refine the strategy and initiatives.
- Provide strategic and analytical insight to relevant stakeholders on all aspects of strategic initiatives, including the measurement of execution and success.
- Establish and maintain effective governance structures and processes to oversee delivery of strategic initiatives and HR transformation project (committees, meetings, reports, risk registers, etc)
- Build Executive and Board reporting dashboard of key HR metrics.
- Develop and enhance the leadership culture of the Group through role modelling of values and leadership behaviours.

We will also be looking for;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Commerce or Accounting
- 7-10 years background and experience in Consulting or key leadership analytical roles.
- Proven experience as a trusted and credible advisor to the business, providing insight and contributing to impactful decision making.
- Deep experience leading business processes, leadership, risk management and implementation of change.
- Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives in a way that deliver upon business outcomes.
- A history of driving change effectively and efficiently.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
