Inflight Experience & Delivery Lead

Hello. We’re Virgin Australia. And we’re back (in a big way).

We’re the airline that’s always done things a little different. Our way. The Virgin way. For us, flying is so much more than simply taking off and landing (although we understand that is quite important). It’s about going the extra mile, in the air and on the ground, to create authentic experiences that put our guests firmly at the heart of everything we do.

About Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA)

VARA operates out of Perth Airport and has a fleet of F100 and A320 aircraft that predominantly conduct charter operations throughout regional Western Australia. VARA is on a growth path and has a strong focus on supporting our major clients in the mining industry - the future is exciting!

About the role:

The Inflight Experience & Delivery Lead will support the inflight product, service, and training aspects related to introducing the Embraer E190-E2 into the VARA fleet. In this role, you will assist with product planning and develop Cabin Crew policies and procedures that ensure safe and compliant cabin service, while driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, front-line employees, and third-party suppliers, to support front-line teams in delivering exceptional service and achieving both commercial and customer satisfaction goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Cabin Operations department in safely and compliantly introducing all inflight service elements for the E190-E2 Entry Into Service (EIS) program.
  • Serve as the project Subject Matter Expert for Inflight Service Standards in the E190-E2 EIS program.
  • Develop, write, and implement inflight experience policies, procedures, and systems for VARA Cabin Crew specific to the E190-E2.
  • Ensure customer-centric outcomes for process and standard improvements within the project.
  • Ensure compliance activities are aligned with Virgin Australia’s Safety Management System framework.
  • Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders on projects, initiatives, and business changes impacting E190-E2 policy and process development.
  • Successfully develop service policies and training materials for the introduction of a new aircraft type.
  • Achieve all key project milestones and adhere to timelines.

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience and awareness of aviation regulations and legislation
  • Strong understanding of cabin standards including operating procedures and safety procedures. (Knowledge of E190 aircraft type desirable)
  • Hands-on experience in designing policy and process across the cabin environment.
  • Develop and deliver key information across the network to ensure consistent communication and understanding.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, both in terms of self-leadership, leading others as you interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Ability to work creatively in a constrained environment where “best practice” and maturity is still evolving.
  • Strong ability to remain focused on delivering to the plan but remaining flexible and adaptive to change as required.

What you’ll get from us:

We’re committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
