Who we’re looking for:
A qualified learning specialist who is ready to unleash their creative mind to design and delivery compliant and compelling training content.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Learning & Design Specialist, you will design initial and recurrent training course material for Non-Technical Skills and Human Factors training programs for team members across the Virgin Australia Operations Group. Further to Design, this role will support Academy Trainers to deliver content to Aircrew and Ground Crew teams as a secondary portfolio. You will be based at Brisbane Head Office and you will work closely with the Academy Design Team, Academy Training team and Flight and Cabin Crew NTS Instructors.
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Cert IV qualification in teaching, adult learning, training & assessment or equivalent
- Come with a strong awareness of Non-Technical Skills and Human Factors core elements and how they apply to an operational environment
- Have a strong understanding of appropriate CASA regulations, IATA Standards
- Have aviation experience
- Have proven experience in course material design for operational teams, particularly adult learning
- Are experienced in training delivery – classroom, practical, on the job
- Have pride in your exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to engage and deliver content
- Can collaborate and build long-term stakeholder relationships
