Guest Assistance Team - Sydney

We are seeking new members of our Guest Assistance Team in the Sydney Customer Service Delivery team.

The Guest Assistance Team work exclusively with Virgin Australia guests who require assistance throughout the airport terminals and are dedicated to enhancing our customer experience and commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for all guests.

What you'll be doing

Guest Assistance team members demonstrate a clear desire to improve the airport experience for our guests requiring assistance and understand the need for Virgin Australia to meet the increasing expectations of our guests.

The Guest Assistance Team:

Assist guests who require specific assistance in airports including transport using wheelchairs to and from aircraft, or throughout the airport terminal, and assisting in lifting passengers requiring assistance in and out of wheelchairs and / or aircraft seats.

Other duties may include:

  • Maintain professional relationships with guests and handle sensitive enquiries with tact & discretion
  • Ensure sufficient Ground Support Equipment (e.g. wheelchairs) are available for the day ahead, assist any guests requiring specific assistance and maintain COVID safe practices
  • Collate and use data from various information sources
  • Determine problems and potential problems, identify solutions and take corrective action
  • Implement new / improved systems and processes as directed

What you'll need

  • Experience in aged care, NDIS, Healthcare or other personal support work will be particularly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Experience in a Customer Service role
