We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Resource Planner to join our Workforce Planning team.
In this role, you will play a key role in the effective rostering of Ground Crew to meet operational requirements and on-time roster publishing. You will provide information to relevant stakeholders to improve the resource management process, including advice on skills shortages and resource opportunities on-time performance, and optimal productivity.
What you’ll be doing:
- Allocating team members to the shift plan provided by Workforce Planning Analysts to ensure all work is covered efficiently and in line with local Airport requirements
- Ensure equality, fairness, transparency, and procedural compliance of allocating team members to shifts
- Ensure data in the roster system is accurate to actual work performed and meets requirements of Ground Crew Agreements and applicable Award conditions
- On time publishing of rosters every roster period as per the Ground Crew Agreements and to the quality agreed to with airport management
- Allocate crew leave requests within specified timeframes and report of leave offered at roster publish to Airport Management
- Maintain effective relationships with Airside and Guest Services standards, training, and quality assurance teams, airports, and project teams
This is a maximum term opportunity
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Experience in understanding of rostering and resource planning processes, theories, and methodologies
- Intermediate Computer skills including Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in applying Industrial, regulatory rules or enterprise agreements within a business
- A high level of prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and to work within multiple/conflicting time constraints.
