What you’ll be doing:
Are you passionate about aviation, data-driven decision-making, and fostering strategic partnerships? Join our team as a Pricing & Inventory Specialist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for Virgin Australia and Qatar Airways.
In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in pricing and inventory distribution tools to maximize revenue opportunities while delivering a seamless selling experience for our customers. Strong stakeholder engagement with Qatar Airways will be essential as we work collaboratively to strengthen our joint customer proposition.
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Business, Administration, or similar.
- Certification in Fares and Ticketing 1 and 2 (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in airline pricing or revenue management.
- Knowledge of fare structures, rules, and ATPCO fare filing.
- Strong understanding of revenue management and inventory controls.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the airline or travel industry.
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience in travel agencies, travel management, or air product distribution.
- Knowledge of GDS ticketing, Sabre Fare Manager, and Sabre Revenue Management tools.
- Familiarity with revenue accounting and air fare distribution.
- Proven experience working with stakeholders, including partner airlines and vendors like ATPCO and Sabre.
- Skills in relationship management and process design.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
