What you’ll be doing
The objective of the Program Coordinator role is to support the Program Director, focusing on tasks and tactical activities to ensure the Programs remain on schedule, stay within budget and achieves their goals. This is an exciting role within a large team and network of stakeholders across the Virgin Australia business.
The Program Coordinator will assist with Program planning, tracking, documentation and administration, and execute tasks for various Programs. From supporting the Manager with coordination duties to assisting Programs across the portfolio, , this is not a data entry role, but a coordinator role in the truest sense.
We are looking for a team player, someone who can build strong relationships with the whole team, while following up on task completion and deliverables and raising any risks with the Manager accordingly.
The successful candidate will be someone who can work autonomously and take ownership of tasks, but we will also guarantee a strong management team who will provide guidance when required.

You’ll be great in this role if you have…
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Administration/Program Co-ordination roles
- Great eye for detail to assist in ensuring each Program meets each of the Program's quality standards
- Able to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to help the team where required
- Strong problem solving, prioritisation and analytical skills
- Experience developing and analysing Program reporting(e.g. schedules, risks and issues, resourcing, financial management, progress and blockers)
- Demonstrated understanding of Program management concepts
- Experience creating quality presentations using MS PowerPoint for a Leadership audience (you have intermediate - advanced skills in MS Office)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or certificate in Program Management is desirable, but not essential
