Marketing Specialist Everyday Spend

What you’ll be doing:

Velocity works within an agile business structure. This role, Marketing Specialist, will report into the Marketing Leader, in this role, you will work within the Everyday Spend Squad, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to campaigns that drive engagement and growth for renowned partner brands.

This role will drive paid media strategy and delivery, requiring a broad understanding of the media landscape, in particular digital and social channels. An analytical mindset and knowledge of customer lifecycle principals will be key to this role as the Marketing Specialist will lead the execution and ongoing optimisation of the Everyday Earn Points transfer lifecycle program.

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years mid-level marketing management experience
  • Experience leading, planning, and optimising integrated marketing campaigns
  • End-to-end multi-channel marketing campaign delivery
  • Multi-level stakeholder management with a proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Briefing and leading agency deliverables
  • Adaptability to changing ways of working
  • Commercial and budget management experience with strong analytical, analysis and reporting skills
  • The ability to independently take a brief and run with it and ask questions when required
  • A natural ability to pivot where needed and shift focus as priorities change
  • A strong skillset and knowledge of data-driven and digital marketing techniques and processes
  • Experience with 1st party data and addressable omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Worked with campaign management tools in complex environments
  • Digital marketing capability, using data and tools to enhance and optimise campaign constructs
  • CRM and lifecycle marketing experience along with campaign orchestration and lifecycle management
  • Spam and privacy compliance in direct marketing context
  • A relevant tertiary or equivalent business qualification ideally in business, marketing, communications or related discipline
  • Airline and/or loyalty experience (desirable)
  • Paid digital and social campaign delivery (desirable)
  • Digital product management I.e., CMS, CRM, Power BI, databases etc (desirable)
