People Services Support Advisor

What you’ll be doing:

As the People Services Support Advisor you will become the go-to person supporting people initiatives and projects across the employee life-cycle. This is a great opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude, ability to work at pace managing multiple priorities and deadlines and confident when interacting with senior stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of People Services this is role with loads of exposure and room to grow. 

Your role will include:

  • Support end-to-end People initiatives within the Shared Services model supporting the People team (HR Business Partners, Workplace Relations and Head of People).
  • Coordinate projects and working groups of business leaders and become the go-to person to help out and get things done.
  • Support our Virgin Flair (recognition program).
  • Become the subject matter expert for employee engagement survey platform.
  • Liaise with colleagues and action Intranet updates.
  • Alongside the IT team become a system support for our Learning Management System and ensure content and compliance up-to-date.
  • Facilitate project teams when new People policies being introduced or updated.
  • Contribute to regular reporting and analysis.
  • Leverage business data, engagement/pulse surveys, direct employee feedback, and best practices to build power points that will support the Heads of People.
  • Maintain People Services mailboxes

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Degree qualified in HR, Business or a related field.
  • Result driven, with a hands-on approach to achieve results under pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to build effective relationships
  • Confident with new systems and software
  • Highly organised and able to coordinate projects to ensure outcomes are met.
  • Agility and resilience to adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Highly developed customer orientation and a demonstrated drive for continuous improvement.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft office suite including building slide decks
