What you’ll be doing:

The Senior Analyst, Transformation will be responsible for providing key insights into transformation opportunities across Virgin Australia. Working with the transformation team to lead the company transformation program, and ideation of strategic, innovative, and cross functional projects.

• Lead advanced analytics efforts across relevant functions to uncover underlying drivers and generate critical insights
• Transform analytical outputs into actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making and consequently drive business performance
• Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, utilizing multiple analytical tools
• Participate in the analysis and documentation of strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with solution design, delivery, or development.
• Cultivate a data-driven culture by employing data and analytical approaches in decision-making processes

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree
• Experience in strategy or management consulting
• Ability to translate complex business questions into analysis to support decision making
• Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights
• Experience in preparing presentations for CEO/Board-level audiences
• Proficiency in synthesizing insights into a management-level narrative to drive effective decision-making
• Exceptional communication skills, adept at conveying complex ideas both in written and oral formats
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, or other relevant analytical tools

Desirable skills:

• Airline or travel industry experience
• Experience in financial revenue forecasting
• B2B or B2B2C experience
