And to do that, it takes a team of talented people who are passionate about customer experience, doing the right thing always, with a focus on safety – in the air, on the ground and in our workplaces. A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.

The role:

Reporting to the On Time Performance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and achieving timely performance across our airport functions. In this role, you’ll take the lead in monitoring performance metrics, collaborating on delay coding and follow-up, and facilitating performance review meetings to drive impactful change.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvements, optimise change management, and deliver operational excellence. With a focus on safety and service, your efforts will support exceptional experiences for both guests and team members, helping us excel in every aspect of our operations.

In addition, you will:

  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement in service quality and implement enhancements.
  • Lead efforts to assess and improve operational performance across multiple streams.
  • Be onsite at airports to identify operational improvement opportunities across functions, using scorecards, data analysis, and observations to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with base Operational Teams and HQ Teams to accurately classify delays, analyse data for trends, and provide actionable insights to meet performance goals.
  • Lead meetings with base leaders to review performance trends, align on initiatives, and develop targeted action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Lead monthly meetings to foster collaboration, review past performance, and set future goals to drive ongoing enhancements.
  • Support change management processes by monitoring impacts, adjusting strategies, and ensuring smooth implementation for operational improvements.
  • Prioritise safety in all interactions with the operational team and throughout all process changes or developments.

Please note: This is a 12-month opportunity with the potential to extend into a permanent position.

What you need to be successful:

  • 2+ years working within the aviation industry.
  • Experience in both Domestic and International Operations (desired)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships.

  • In-depth understanding of airline operations and the responsibilities of operational teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with business acumen to navigate organisational challenges.
