Minor Works Delivery Lead - Loyalty

What you’ll be doing  

The objective of the Minor Works Delivery Lead role is to manage and deliver minor works, small system enhancements and small work packages for your allocated portfolio.  

You will work with our Business Technology teams, overseeing minor works and closely managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery is of a high standard. This includes managing scope, budgets, and reporting, while ensuring adequate resourcing and governance is in place to meet company standards.  

This will include however not be limited to;  

  • Leading all elements of Minor Works delivery including scope, resourcing, timelines, risks and issues, stakeholder engagement, approvals and budget control  

  • Drive collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver success, including internal technology and business stakeholders as well as external vendors.  

  • Deliver accurate status reporting to both technology and business stakeholders, as required.  

  • Effectively manage prioritisation of minor works initiatives via the backlog. 

  • Ensure deadlines, priorities and dependencies are communicated and understood by all stakeholders and delivery teams 

  • Ensure delivery compliance with the Virgin Australia / Velocity Delivery Framework and support its continuous improvement. 

You’ll be great in this role if you…    

  • Have at least 3 years' experience in a Project Manager, Project Lead or Service Delivery Lead role  

  • Have strong business acumen with a passion for delivering success. 

  • Highly experienced in working with prioritisation pipelines  

  • Have proven success in problem solving in a complex Business Systems environment  

  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills, especially the credibility to have a positive influence on a range of stakeholders, and lead high performing teams  

  • A strong understanding business and technical requirements, analysis, business process modelling and data mapping  

  • Are results driven, with a strong customer orientation  

  • Are detailed-oriented with proven time management and organisation skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve results   

  • Have the ability to juggle multiple initiatives, stakeholders and priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment
