What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Platform Engineer you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining reliable, scalable and secure developer tools and platforms that empower our digital squads to deliver software quickly and safely. You’ll focus on optimising infrastructure/tooling, enhancing observability and driving automation for deployments and CI/CD pipelines. Your work will ensure seamless development experiences across cloud native environments enabling high-velocity, low-risk delivery.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

• Have experience with CI/CD platforms and tools like GitLab CI/CD/Bitrise, and LaunchDarkly
• Understand CDN platforms such as Akamai, including edge configuration and WAF
• Bring strong knowledge in designing and implementing platform software and creating developer platforms
• Have significant hands on experience with DevOps tools
• Are comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and understand agile concepts and methodologies
• Possess scripting and automation skills to streamline processes
• Can implement security features on digital platforms and apply DevSecOps practices (e.g., SonarQube, secrets management)
• Are proficient with observability tools like New Relic, including setting up dashboards and alerts
• Have exposure to AWS services (e.g., EC2) and understand architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling
• Are familiar with SRE practices and incident response frameworks
• Bonus points if you have experience in the airline domain or emerging technologies like Agentic AI
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (and ideally certifications in platforms such as GitLab or AWS)
