What you’ll be doing
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of all inventory, in accordance with Virgin Tech’s policies and procedures.
You will provide specialist support to aircraft maintenance and ramp operations teams across warehousing and logistics, tooling and ground support equipment management, training management, maintenance forward planning and resource planning.
This role operates on a roster pattern of two days, two nights, then four days off.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Virgin Tech’s policies and procedures.
- Product Handling: Package products following OEM guidelines and manage returns, ensuring everything is in its correct place.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Process tools, track shelf life, and ensure proper tool handling in line with regulations.
- Stock Control: Manage inventory locations and help with stocktakes to maintain system accuracy.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all products are stored according to regulations, including hazardous, aeronautical, and commercial goods.
You’ll be great in this role if you have…
- Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn inventory management systems. This role is approximately 70% computer-based.
- Previous experience in warehousing or inventory management is desirable but not essential.
- A detail-oriented nature and take pride in your work, ensuring everything is accurate and well organised.
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern of two days and two nights.
- Reliable transport, as public transport is not available during shift times.
- A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

- Ability to undertake and clear a Medical assessment and DAMP test (at own cost)
- Ability lift 32kg
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- Meet Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) requirements
