Hello. We’re Virgin Australia. We’re the airline that’s always done things a little different. Our way. The Virgin way. We’re on a mission to make flying better than ‘nice’. And to do that, it takes a team of talented people who are passionate about customer experience, doing the right thing always, with a focus on safety – in the air, on the ground and in our workplaces. A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.

What you’ll be doing:

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded marketer who can identify opportunities, take ideas from insight through to execution, and influence stakeholders to bring them to life. Reporting to the Marketing Leader – SME, this role sits within our collaborative SME Marketing Team and will play a key role in growing engagement with Virgin Australia Business Flyer. You’ll work closely with Product, Strategy, Lifecycle and Sales teams to turn customer insights and product priorities into compelling go-to-market plans, content and campaigns that educate members, drive product adoption and support business growth. You’ll be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines, with strong B2B marketing experience and a hands-on approach to developing content and marketing materials. Creativity, curiosity and a test-and-learn mindset will be important, as will the ability to use data and member behaviour to continually improve our marketing.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Bring B2B marketing experience, with a strong understanding of audiences, content, channels and targeting.
  • Have an understanding of traditional account-based marketing approaches (B2B and B2B2C).
  • Are a confident cross-functional collaborator, able to influence stakeholders and bring people together to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Know how to bring products to life, through go-to-market plans, campaigns and engaging content.
  • Are highly organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Have experience with CRM or CMS platforms, such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager or Salesforce. (Desirable)
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce and/or communications.
  • Are hands-on and creative, with an eye for developing engaging, on-brand content that’s fit for purpose.

What you’ll get from us:

We’re committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):

  • Heavily discounted air travel for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year)

  • Discounted Virgin Australia Lounge membership
  • Hospitality, retail, technology, beauty services and wellness discounts
