As a Flight Operations Technical Support Officer, you’ll play a critical role behind the scenes, ensuring that the information our pilots rely on is accurate, clear and compliant. Your work directly supports the safe and efficient operation of every Virgin Australia flight.

What you will be doing

• Manage and publish Flight Operations documentation, including manuals, revisions and operational notices (FCONs, OICs, FCIBs)
• Review, update and continuously improve the Flight Operations manual suite and controlled documentation
• Maintain documentation across digital platforms including Comply365, Jeppesen and internal systems
• Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders across Operations Division to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Support regulatory compliance by monitoring changes and updating operational documentation accordingly
• Contribute to quality control, safety and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll bring

• A degree in aviation, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent aviation knowledge
• Strong understanding of airline operations and regulatory frameworks (CASA, AIP)
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear procedures
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Experience with operational documentation, safety systems or compliance (highly regarded)
• Familiarity with EFB/documentation systems such as Comply365 (advantageous)
