Our Engineering team plays a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable and ready to fly. Working across our Boeing 737 NG and 737 MAX fleet in a highly regulated environment, we combine technical expertise with innovation and continuous improvement to deliver safe, efficient and dependable operations for our guests.

What you’ll be doing…

Based at either our Brisbane or Melbourne Hangars, you'll join our Mechanical Systems & Cabin Engineering team, supporting the continuing airworthiness, configuration control and reliability of our Boeing 737 NG and 737 MAX fleet.

In this role, you'll help ensure our aircraft mechanical systems and cabin interiors continue to meet the highest standards of safety, compliance and performance. You'll contribute to technical investigations, engineering assessments, defect resolution and reliability initiatives, while supporting preventative and predictive maintenance strategies that improve fleet reliability and operational performance.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline, or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or equivalent).
  • A sound understanding of engineering principles, with an interest in aircraft mechanical systems and cabin engineering, and a desire to develop your knowledge in a fleet engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information
  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence working with engineering systems and data

The following would be highly regarded:

  • Experience within an airline, MRO or aircraft maintenance environment
  • Experience working on Boeing 737 aircraft
  • Experience with TRAX/eMRO Engineering Maintenance System
