We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable, and operationally minded Cleaning Operations Advisor to join our team at the Brisbane Airport Hangar. This is a highly mobile, field‑based role where you’ll be moving between the Brisbane Airport Hangar, Brisbane Head Office, and travelling to domestic ports to support cleaning operations across the network.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment, enjoys being out in the operation, and is confident engaging directly with contractors, suppliers, and operational teams—even when the conversations are tough. The role is very diverse in terms of having a highly operational focus along with a corporate lens to ensure our contractors are meeting their contractual obligations. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our high aircraft presentation standards and supporting the daily operation.

What you’ll be doing

• Working across multiple operational sites, supporting on‑the‑ground cleaning performance and operational delivery
• Managing product usage, monitoring loading requirements, and investigating discrepancies
• Updating Cleaning Operations documentation, specifications, and performance frameworks
• Publishing the monthly Cleaning Newsletter for contractors and key stakeholders
• Preparing weekly insights on cost issues, non‑compliance, risks, and recommended actions
• Overseeing supplier performance and contract compliance across Brisbane and domestic ports
• Producing monthly and quarterly performance reports
• Conducting inspections and audits on Virgin Australia aircraft across various ports
• Using platforms such as Touchpoint, Intelex and Performance Log to review and analyse compliance
• Representing the Cleaning Operations Leader in key projects as required
• Partnering with Cabin Crew, operational teams and suppliers to resolve compliance issues
• Managing daily and weekly reporting on performance, safety, quality and operational outcomes
• Documenting safety events and operational challenges for trend analysis and improvement

You’ll be great in this role if you…

• Have experience in Cleaning Contract Management or a similar logistics/operational environment
• Experience working in an aviation environment would be highly desirable but not mandatory
• Excel in a fast‑paced workplace where priorities shift rapidly
• Are flexible, adaptable and thrive in environments where change is constant
• Communicate clearly, build strong working relationships and influence effectively
• Manage your time well and stay calm under pressure
• Are commercially aware and experienced in managing cost and product usage
• Are proficient in MS Office and open to learning new systems
• Hold qualifications in operations, logistics, project management or similar fields
• Are passionate about safety, service quality and continuous operational improvement
