What you’ll be doing:

We’re expanding! Virgin Australia is excited to offer multiple opportunities for talented sales professionals across Sydney and Brisbane. We’re hiring a range of roles within our SME sales team that focus on different stages of the customer journey. If you’re passionate about building strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving commercial success, this is your chance to join a fast-paced, high-performing team.

In these roles, you’ll be at the heart of Virgin Australia’s Business Flyer program. Whether driving new business, onboarding and re‑engaging customers, or growing an existing portfolio, you’ll create impact, build strong relationships, and help grow our SME program.

 

In these roles, you will:

  • Own a portfolio of SME accounts, nurturing relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Drive revenue by proactively engaging with prospects and existing customers to secure sign-ups and retain business.
  • Surpass sales and performance targets while elevating the quality and value of revenue within the Business Flyer program.
  • Contribute to shaping and delivering an effective customer and revenue development strategy.
  • Maintain strong client engagement through consistent outreach across phone, email, and events.
  • Collaborate with your team to meet SLAs and support broader revenue and customer experience goals.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions with clarity, accuracy, and expert advice.
  • Represent Virgin Australia at industry events, strengthening partnerships and expanding your network.
  • Stay across Virgin Australia’s suite of products to provide confident, informed support to clients.

 

Please note this is a 12-month opportunity.

 

You’ll be great in this role if you have: 

  • Demonstrated sales expertise with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong ability to identify new business opportunities, convert leads, and grow an existing portfolio.
  • Skilled in building rapport quickly and maintaining long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
  • Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell products and services, maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different client needs.
  • Experience in managing a high-volume sales pipeline and consistently delivering on KPIs and sales metrics.
