What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking a CRC Codeshare Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance core airline systems, including reservations, departure control, and associated platforms. This role focuses on delivering high-quality system support while driving continuous improvements and ensuring seamless collaboration with industry partners.

While extensive experience and in-depth knowledge is not essential, a background in the airline or travel industry is important, with particular emphasis on Airline Reservations, Passenger Service Systems (PSS), and interline processes. We are looking for someone with the ability to rapidly enhance their technical expertise and take ownership of this role. Collaboration with our team of CRC analysts is a key aspect of the position, so previous experience working within a specialised team is important. 

As the Subject Matter Expert for codeshare, interline, and GDS-related systems, you will play a pivotal role in managing system functionalities. You’ll work closely with airline, PSS, GDS, and industry partners to implement new features, oversee system enhancements, and maintain overall system integrity.

This role involves responding to and resolving issues raised by internal and external stakeholders while prioritizing and implementing system changes to ensure optimal performance. You’ll also lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations, offering expert advice and guidance throughout the process.

 You’ll be great in this role if you have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information or Business Management, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in codeshare, interline, and GDS system support
• Experience with travel agency or GDS platforms
• Proficiency in airline reservation and departure control systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Edifact, teletype messaging, AVA/AVS, and availability setups
• Expertise in schedule changes, SSRs, step-down levels, and quota limits
• Ability to interpret GDS PNR history
• Understanding of interline and codeshare agreements (GBRs)
• Experience with IATCI processes, class mapping (TOCS/TCS), and dynamic scheduling
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)

Desirable but not essential:

• IATA Fares and Ticketing (Levels I & II))
• Experience with airline applications, web-based products, and IT systems
• Knowledge of ancillaries, EMDs, and Airline seat maps
• Vendor contract management experience
• Familiarity with DCA/DCS and seamless codeshare systems
