About the role:

Our B2B Sales team are an ambitious bunch. They are the face of Virgin Australia to our Corporate and Agency Partners, providing a critical conduit that translates strategy into partner specific outcomes. And with proven expertise, each team member is responsible for winning or retaining high value partners by deploying targeted initiatives that nurture relationships and spearhead winning solutions.

As a Partnership Specialist, you glue the B2B Sales team together by providing expertise, guidance, and support to the team across several programs and go to market initiatives. You will govern the structure of our partner engagement plan across new and existing partners, blending automation with facilitated partner specific actions. You will also own our corporate onboarding and masterclass education programs, requiring a high level of expertise in messaging formation and virtual training/facilitation. And the final piece of the puzzle? You will help identify growth opportunities across sales, deploying targeted offers that continually deliver mutually benefiting value.

Collaboration in this role is key to achieving targets, exceeding customer expectations, and nurturing loyalty, while always bringing your Virgin Flair. So if this sounds like – you apply now!

What we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of B2B sales operations or contract management experience
  • Ability to engage with all stakeholder levels across internal and external audiences
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM tools like Salesforce)
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution abilities
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision making
  • Experience creating customer proposals leveraging all business value levers

Desirable but not essential…

  • Corporate, Airline or Travel Management Company experience
  • B2B sales expertise within airline or travel industry sales contracting
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a related field
  • Knowledge of Sabre GDS, Power BI and PRISM
