What you’ll be doing:

The role of Partnership Specialist, Consumer Partnerships sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports to the Senior Manager (Product Owner – Everyday Spend).

By taking the lead on the designated partners, you will be expected to drive a plan for growth for those partners including; all aspects of relationship management; defining, establishing and delivering on the partner marketing and innovation strategies; end to end campaign delivery; and contract negotiations.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Have 5 Years + commercial experience in Commercial, Partnership or Consumer Loyalty environment
  • Come with project Management experience to lead new programs of work within the partnership
  • Are an expert in planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting; confident assessing context, environment and growth opportunities
  • Are experienced in loyalty with a strong understanding of loyalty environment
  • Are a natural at stakeholder engagement and inter-personal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders including partners and senior internal leaders
  • Have a passion and solid track record of piloting new ideas and challenging ways of thinking
  • Are data literate with demonstrated analytical skills and are able to develop forecasts and business cases
  • Have a strong customer orientation focused on delivering enhances experiences for our partners and members
  • Possess the commercial acumen to critically analyze opportunities and business context
  • Have strong negotiation skills to navigate through stakeholder relationships and contracts
  • Are comfortable presenting and pitching to all levels within a business
  • Understand partner marketing strategies and execution
  • Have the demonstrated ability to develop marketing initiatives and drive through to fulfilment
  • Come from a Fuel, Retail, Grocery, Insurance, Telco, Utility or B2B environment, or Consumer Loyalty background (desirable)
  • Have experience managing contracts and contract negotiations (desirable)
