Senior Business Analyst

Who we’re looking for:

Support transformational, BAU and technology delivery activities by eliciting and documenting business requirements in collaboration with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This is a 24-month fixed-term opportunity. 

This role sits within our IT Project Delivery Office (PDO) which comprises of a number of large / complex programs and a tail of other initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Elicit document and maintain business requirements documentation, requirements traceability artefacts and test cases.
  • Perform analysis of business processes and systems.
  • Document current and target state processes and systems.
  • Support transformational, BAU and technology delivery activities.
  • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units and stakeholders to develop the required analysis and documentation in a collaborative manner.
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with subject matter experts and partners.
  • Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to the VA framework and template artefacts.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in a complex corporate environment.
  • Extensive experience with data visualisation (essential).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile framework.
  • Proven capabilities in project and user-testing
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships with strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
  • Critical thinking, analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills including an ability to address any issue in collaboration with others.
  • Experience with project management tools, including Jira, Confluence, DevSecOps, Visio, Power BI.
  • Airline industry experience (desirable).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science.
