And to do that, it takes a team of talented people who are passionate about customer experience, doing the right thing always, with a focus on safety – in the air, on the ground and in our workplaces. A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.

What you’ll be doing

As our Senior AI Analyst (Business Analyst - AI), you’ll support the identification, shaping and delivery of AI-enabled improvements across the organisation. Working under the direction of the AI Transformation Lead, this role supports discovery activities, maps processes and workflows, gathers requirements, and helps define AI use cases that improve productivity and reduce friction in day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage with business teams to understand how work is currently performed and identify inefficiencies.
  • Run workshops and interviews with subject-matter experts to uncover problems suitable for AI-enabled improvement.
  • Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows showing AI-driven improvements.
  • Define clear AI use cases with expected benefits and success measures.
  • Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.
  • Assist delivery teams during implementation and participate in testing and validation activities.
  • Support creation of operational documentation and training inputs.

You’ll be great in this role if you have…

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to translate between business and technical teams effectively.
  • Working understanding of modern AI concepts such as LLMs, RAG and agent workflows (at a conceptual level).
  • Experience in process mapping, requirements definition and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Formal training or coursework covering foundational AI concepts.
  • Industry-recognised business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent (desirable).

We’re committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):

  • Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year)
  • A flexible, hybrid work style. Work from home or the office, adapt your location to suit your style and needs
  • One of Brisbane’s most admired head office locations, with South Bank train station, a supermarket, pharmacy, and lunch options downstairs plus a 5-minute walk to the Busway, a rooftop restaurant and onsite gym (with a low membership fee) and South Bank Parklands just across the road
  • Discounts on travel insurance, lounge membership, car hire, accommodation, and experiences worldwide
  • Cheaper hospitality, retail, technology, beauty and wellness services
  • Free counselling and access to a wellbeing app to support your physical, mental, social and financial health
