What you’ll be doing

The objective of this role is to work across the broad-based remuneration portfolio to deliver flawless execution and governance of core remuneration and benefits programs and processes. You will be one of a small team of Remuneration Subject Matter Experts within the People & Culture team and to support the delivery of Executive Remuneration. Reporting to the Head of Renumeration & Benefits you will:

  • Lead the annual executive remuneration and performance review processes.
  • Manage the executive benchmarking process and provide accurate and fair remuneration advice and recommendations.
  • Oversee the corporate scorecards which feed into remuneration frameworks.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise knowledge on all Non-Enterprise Agreement remuneration and award compliance matters
  • Lead the development of toolkits and delivery of workshops for the People team (specifically People Specialists and Talent Acquisition) to enable enhanced reward understanding.
  • Support delivery of Executive Leadership Team and Board Remuneration Committee Papers
  • Maintain and update executive remuneration audit workbooks and prepare the Annual Remuneration Report
  • Work closely with the Virgin Australia Finance team and third party share plan administrator to enable the delivery of share based remuneration plans
  • Review of any out of policy exceptions or out of cycle remuneration changes
  • Manage relationships with Superannuation and Corporate Benefits providers

You’ll be great in this role if you…

  •  5 years + experience working in Remuneration and Executive Remuneration in a listed company environment
  • Strong understanding of broad-based remuneration
  • Strong Excel modelling and analytical skills, and experience using Oracle or similar HR systems
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
