What you’ll be doing

Our Payroll Delivery Advisors are essential to ensuring our employees are paid correctly, seamlessly and on time across 4 legal entities and nine complex payrolls. With multiple Enterprise Agreements, diverse time and attendance systems and constant movement across our operation, this isn’t your typical payroll role. It’s dynamic, it’s fast and it’s meaningful.

You’ll be a trusted expert, a problem solver, and a guardian of the payroll experience for our people from pilots to cabin crew, engineering and corporate teams.You’ll deliver accurate, timely payroll for our workforce by:

• Processing end-to-end payroll across all VA Group payrolls
• Entering and validating data in Oracle Payroll
• Managing new starters, terminations, secondments and status changes
• Checking payroll accuracy each cycle and meeting EFT deadlines
• Managing overtime, allowances and entitlements
• Supporting EOM/EOY processes and reconciliations
• Efficiently resolving payroll queries via Versa
• Interpreting complex Enterprise Agreements and legislation
• Maintaining strong knowledge of payroll compliance and processes

You’ll be great in this role if you have…

• 3+ years’ experience in a payroll role in a medium or large organisation
• Qualifications in Finance, HR or Business would be desirable
• Experience using Oracle or similar large payroll systems
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Knowledge of PAYG, superannuation, leave, deductions
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong Excel skills for analysing large and complex datasets
• Proven ability to interpret multiple Enterprise Agreements
