Training Coordinator

What you’ll be doing:

The Maintenance Support is a highly skilled team of Technical Instructors, Technical Trainers and aircraft maintenance specialist delivering training and support services to the whole of Virgin Tech, Virgin Engineering and approved contractors. The training group develops and delivers both CASA Part 145 and Part 147 courseware and is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance with regard to maintenance authorisations and safety system training.

As the Training Coordinator you will support the delivery of the Aircraft Maintenance Strategy, particularly relating to the administration and coordination of company training and maintaining accurate and compliant training records 

This will include but not be limited to;

  • Maintaining and auditing training records to maintain compliance
  • Data Entry into Learning Edge and other company systems
  • Creating reports through Learning Edge and Excel
  • Remining compliant on skilled on introduced learning systems
  • Review and update of basic training material
  • Review training request, schedule courses and engage external training providers
  • Administrational duties such as travel planning, Certificate generation, ordering, preparation and distribution of training content and material.
  • Liaise with instructors to allocate courses, plan and monitor course numbers and remain updated on training schedules
  • Assisting and providing full cooperation with auditors during audits and investigations
  • Responsible for performing additional duties and activities as assigned by the Maintenance Support Manager to achieve Company objectives

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous administrational experience and record keeping in a fast paced environment
  • A demonstrated self-starter who can work autonomously or in a team
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel,Word and Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining data bases, spreadsheets etc
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • The ability to work towards deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Stakeholder engagement skills across diverse demographics, locations and business levels.
  • Having an aircraft maintenance background or experience with administering a Learning Management System would be advantageous
